![]() ![]() I don't want to use them as a payment processor because they charge too much. Lightspeed wants to force its customers to use them as a payment processor. We went back and forth and couldn't come to a solution. They just recently added an extra $50 charge onto my account. I have been using lightspeed retail for 5 years now. No further engagement required by Lightpseed. June 22: Contract cancelled and refund issued. June 22, 13:52: The customer (*****) acknowledged our email & was happy to hear the news. June 22, 11:59: The customer was unresponsive, so CS re-communicated the news via ticket #*******. ![]() Jun 16, 15:46: CS confirmed that we will cancel the hardware contract & issue a hardware refund via ticket #*******. June 2023: Account was escalation to ******** Success (CS): After analyzing the customers tickets & interactions, CS agreed to cancel the hardware financing contract, and issue a full refund for hardware. April 13: First RMA was initiated however, hardware did not qualify for a refund. Despite explaining this, our internal teams did not send over RMA labels to return hardware. We explained that the software was cancelled, but hardware contract was still active. Between December- April: ******** reached out several times inquiring why they are still being billed. However, as they had a hardware financing contract, the hardware financing contract remained active, and the customer continued to be billed for hardware. December, 2022: S oftware subscription was cancelled. December, 2022: Flashback LCC reached out to our internal teams requesting to churn. Clearly someone understood the account was closed because we did receive January 2023 refund yet Lightspeed has continued to take more money since. We are requesting our money back for Feb-June as well as no more charges for unused service and closed account since January 2023. We have requested to speak with supervisors every phone call and someone says we will receive a call from a supervisor but no phone call has ever been received. Equipment was returned and we NEVER used lightspeed service. However, February-June 2023 money has been taken out and we have made every attempt several times a month to get our money back and stop lightspeed from continuing to charge. After speaking with an agent we were informed that the cancellation wasn't put in the system properly and it would be taken care of immediately. We were informed that service had been canceled but in January we were charged for service again. We requested to cancel service within days of setting up the equipment. Unfortunately, where our business is located we were unable to get the system to work.
